Skills Development: Camera Angles

Cutaways. The main purpose of a cutaway is to direct the audience into something completely different, as watching the same clip over and over can be known to be unappealing to the eye. Cutaways can be used to fix up mistakes in the main video. Examples of this can be things like the camera moves slightly when during the main recording session process, that can be easily patched up with a Cutaway. The Camera Angles used in this recording are shots like close up as it was mainly analysing the persons hair getting cut and the equipment being used to cut it like for examples, scissors and a comb as well as a razor. Eye level shots as it was getting close to the individual getting their hair done as the video progresses.  This shot is an over the shoulder shot as its analyzing the top part of the persons head when their hair is being done. The way it was done is that i used the Ultra Key to make the original background black and then i used a background image on google as it was an alleyway and that would fit into the clip as it was based on the Movie Straight Outta Compton as i filmed people in my class doing a short scene of one accepting a handshake from the person entering the scene. This video was then put on youtube and the quality wasn't great but it was the best it could be. What i used to film this was a Canon100 Camera as it was filmed for around 8 seconds as the scale of video was that time on the youtube video. When using the Ultra Key it displayed a number of other types of edits for me to use, i used transparency to tidy up the background as there were some errors in the clip like the background had some leftover black parts and some lines as the original was 50.0 so i changed it up to 1...
